Our Story

Our French Drop grew out of the passion for French wine that husband and wife team, Pierre and Rachel, wanted to share with their friends. Not being able to find the boutique, organic varieties that they enjoyed in France they decided to approach some of their favourite Artisan winemakers and bring their wines to Australia. Our French Drop was born.

They now travel to France regularly and with the help of local wine expert, Philipe De Blomac, they source new wines that compliment their collection of small family-run wineries that have a long pedigree and are committed to returning to traditional methods that respect the environment and the produce. Their wine list is constantly maturing in the same way as their wines as they strive to give their customers value for money without compromising taste or quality.

While on this journey, Rachel saw a gap in the market for a selection of luxury Artisan accessories that would enhance the enjoyment of their wines. She started to source or design items herself that she felt would resonate with their customer base. Like their wines, this collection will evolve.
